Reverend Kriss Hades is the number one avant garde guitarist on the planet! He is a god to us here at Pointyguitars.com ! No other guitarist defines what we are about and worship more! I believe he is one of the most underrated guitar players in extreme metal. He may possibly “be before his time” maybe even beyond that into the realms of timelessness. His solo work has pioneered a style completely of its own, filled with doom and gloom the Reverend channels shredding that’s an blackened, psychedelic fury bordering both the edges of chaos and control simultaneously, that we quite frankly can’t get enough of!
Once going down my 15,000th Reverend Kriss Hades YouTube rabbit hole, I discovered this video of the Reverend preforming with his band Sadisitik Exekution in 1992. in the video you can see the young Reverend blazing leads like a true death metal fiend and pioneer! Having recognized this, I thought others should too. So, I timestamped all his solos in a comment on the video!
