But much like the bigfoot or loch ness, there is evidence of their cryptic existence out there in the depths of the internet. 5.MAB-Dean Double Neck
Based upon the Dean mach v this axe looks pretty cool. I bet is pretty fun to play if you’re a wizard like Michael Angelo Batio but I wouldn’t know what to do with it! The first snow white design (Pictured below) is pretty slick too.
4.Ibanez Xiphos XPT1400TW.
Now here is a double neck model that’s not one of a kind custom shop! the xiphos is such a rad design on its own i feel like it handles the extra neck well. If you search long and hard you may be able to find one of the 50 Ibanez released 50 in 2010. This guy Maximie search took three years before he found one. So best of luck to you!
3. Ed Roman double neck.
The only information you’ll find on this guitar is on the Master of guitars website here. It says there it was built for one Bob Spatafore in 1990. Bob if you see this, please reach out I’d love to know more about what inspired this psychedelic build. I’d love to take some mushrooms and plug a Loop pedal into this bad girl! I can’t get enough of this one really. Easily in my top 3 for sure. If you or anybody you know owns it, let me have it.
2. Jackson War Angel.
I don’t even know if this guitar really exists. Google told me it was called a “War Angel” and it might just be an photoshop phantom, but the baby blue shark fin inlays are a nice treat. I’d love to see it as a single neck model. Its mysteriousness makes it more legendary in my eyes. It makes me want to retreat to a cabin and play black metal right now. Top 2 know problem.
1.kerry king B.C. Rich double neck flying v.
O.k. Here we go again with another Kerry king related flying v on the blog! Apparently, Kerry used this guitar when playing “Spill the Blood” ” during their south of heaven tour in 1988. these are the only two photos I could find of it. I’m waiting for the day someone convinces Kerry to let them make a YouTube video of his guitar collection because he has got to be sitting on some gems. Maybe he will let Pointyguitars.com make it happen!? This thing is fucking ridiculous! it’s the evilest pointy guitar of all time without a doubt. 10/10 and an easy number 1 pick!
